Rumors Salon started in a 900-square-foot space in 1994. Gerald Wolfe, a former college baseball player and marketing major, worked in sales before attending beauty school while working for Gerrilynn’s dad, who owned the school. Within five years, Gerald had become a national-level educator. Today, as the owners of Rumors, Gerald and Gerrilynn have complete control over quality. As passionate as the owners are about hair, Rumors is about more than that – it’s about bringing joy to their customers by providing a retreat from everyday life. And customers can keep that feeling going with the tools to meet the unique needs of their hair.

I visited Rumors for the first time and had a wonderful experience! After years of blow drying and straightening my hair, I wanted to ditch all that in favor of my naturally wavy hair. I went in for a Ouidad cut and was nervous, but I was so pleased! The stylist explained everything about the process and why the products worked the way they did. I was shown how to style my hair after washing and how to do upkeep on the 2nd and 3rd days. I am so happy with the results!
To say the least, Rumors is amazing and I refuse to go anywhere else.
I have been going to Rumors for years now and I must say they are the best! Gerald and his staff are masters of curly hair, so if you are blessed with the curls or even waves I would highly recommend Rumors. My cuts are always amazing and they are willing to go the extra mile for a perfect color (I mean, they know their stuff and will take their time). Recently I had highlights done at the salon and didn’t quite like the results, so Gerald had me come in on Sunday free of charge so he could make my desired changes. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Love this salon! Holly is amazing…she cuts, colors, and highlights my hair consistently awesome every time! I’ve never loved a hairdresser more — I’m so glad I started going here! She listens to what I wish for and makes it happen. Beyond my hair, she is fun and full of laughter which adds to a great customer service experience. We took our 8-year-old grandson for the first time. Not only did was his hair cut perfectly, they also made him grin from ear-to-ear. That’s quite an accomplishment!
